FAQs
Questions we get asked a lot
New to Santé or just want to check something before class? You’ll find the answers here. Can’t see your question? Email hello@santestudios.co.uk and we’ll get back to you.
Getting started
Absolutely. Loads of our members walked in for their first ever class at Santé. Reform Glow is made for beginners, and your instructor will guide you through every move.
Not at all. That’s what the classes are for. Every exercise can be made easier or harder, and you always go at your own pace.
Honestly, probably not. Our classes are full of people at all different ages and stages of life. There’s no “type” here.
Please check with your GP or physio first if you’re unsure, and always let your instructor know before class starts. They’ll suggest alternatives so you can still get a great session in safely.
Classes
If you’re new to reformer, start with Reform Glow. Once you’re feeling confident, move up to Reform Sculpt whenever you’re ready. Prefer the mat? Sculpt is a great place to start too.
Reformer Pilates uses a machine with a sliding carriage, springs and straps to add resistance and support. Mat Pilates is done on the floor using your own bodyweight. Both build strength, control and better posture, so it’s really about what you enjoy.
We run both women only and mixed Santé Hot Kettlebells classes, all in our heated studio. You’ll see which is which on the timetable in the Glofox app.
Comfy, fitted clothes you can move in, plus grip socks for any reformer class. Bring a water bottle too.
Yes, for all reformer classes. They stop you slipping on the machine and keep things hygienic for everyone.
